DIY hut lamp on chicken legs. DIY hut on chicken legs

From arkhipov family   from St. Petersburg.

“We want to invite everyone to visit fabulous autumn foreststand by huts Babki-Yozhki, and to meet Babka-Yozhka herself near the hut.

A bit about us. We are the Arkhipov family from the city of St. Petersburg. The head of the family is dad Ivan Mikhailovich (he is also a generator of ideas and the main producer of natural materials), mother is Galina Nikolaevna (she is the organizer of the process and creative director), daughter Natasha is 8 years old (she is also the main assistant and art designer), daughter Katya is 5 years old (she is a performer and an ideological inspirer). After reading Russian folk tales, we decided to try to make the hut of Babka-Yozhka. And this is what we got.

1. We have collected natural material.

Moss and large tree branches in the forest;
  - Dry broken branches were found near the house.

2. A blank of the hut was cut out of cardboard.

  3. Glued the hut.

  4. From thinly cut branch cuts, tiles were made on the roof of the hut.

  5. Dry branches were cut to the desired size and glued to the walls of the billet hut.

  6. Put the finished hut on the “chicken” leg and carefully lay the moss.

  7. We liked working together so much that the daughters wanted to continue the tale - and fashioned Babu Yaga.

  8. Welcome to our fabulous autumn forest!

In early childhood, we were read various fairy tales and we watched cartoons with the participation of amazing characters. And these characters, over time, became favorite heroes.

Each of them had its own individual character. For example, Koschey the Immortal was cunning and evil, Ivanushka was brave but stupid, and Baba Yaga was insidious and harmful.

In addition to living heroes, inorganic objects often came to life that came to life under certain conditions: the Emeli stove brought him to the palace to the tsar, the self-collected tablecloth became instantly full of all kinds of treats, the hut of Baba Yaga flew and carried out various orders: turned to the forest backwards, and before Ivanushka.

This hut is a kind of door between the world of the living and the dead (according slavic mythology), and Baba Yaga-bone leg guarded this passage.

Sometimes there is a need to make a fake "chicken house", for example, for a theatrical production or exhibition.

We will consider several options for how to make a house on chicken legs, what material should be used based on its purpose and purpose: a board or timber for a strong house or fabric for theater props.

Where to start making crafts?

First you need to decide on the material from which the craft will be made. Making it yourself can be used various natural materials . The base (house) can be made in the following ways:

Choose any method you like best. The hut on chicken legs is made quite simply with your own hands. The most common problem when creating is construction of the "foundation". It must be strong and stable in order to support the weight of the house and have the appropriate shape and design.

Chicken legson which the decorative house will stand can be made voluminous or flat. The creation of flat legs is carried out by cutting out of cardboard, paper, wood or foam with a special shape. Volumetric legsthat will look more natural are done in the following ways:

Do-it-yourself Baba Yaga House

This option is the simplest. Here is a small instruction on how to make Baba Yaga's house out of the box:

With this option, crafts can cope with both an adult and a child.

Baba Yaga Paper Log House

A toy hut can also be made using paper. This method is a bit more complicated than the previous ones, but not inferior to them in interestingness. Such a hut will look spectacular due to the fact that paper logs give it volume. Craft manufactured as follows:

Using paper vines

When weaving huts from newspaper sticks it turns out a decorative and very original craft. This method is a simple and cheap alternative to using willow vines. Sticks are made by twisting newspapers, and for the base of the hut you will need a small box. We will braid such a box.

First you need to make only half the house, and then all the elements of the frame are fastened with paper clips or clothespins on top of the box. We braid the racks, bypassing them alternately in front and behind with a working tube. As soon as the "vine" begins to end, we begin to increase it to the required length. All joints of the tubes are best hidden inside and glued well. You can paint the hut both after weaving (cover the paper with the desired color), and before curling. Legs, roof and decor are performed by any of the above methods.

Making a hut from natural materials

What you find in the forest can be easily used in the manufacture of not only the hut of Baba Yaga, but also any other crafts. Perfect for making natural materials, such as the:

  • branches
  • bark;
  • bumps;
  • driftwood.

Natural materials can be used for gluing cardboard frames on them or in the direct manufacture of things from them themselves. We glue the box with bark or branches so that as little gray spots of cardboard are visible as possible. Using a thermogun or PVA glue and unopened fir cones, we collect the walls of the future hut.

In order for the cones to stay in shape longer, they must be moistened in a glue solution immediately after you bring them home from the forest. From the moss and bark we make a beautiful roof, and driftwood is perfect as legs. This craft will not only look beautiful, but also match the fabulous look as much as possible.

Many craft lovers often combine different methods of making them. For example, twigs can be glued onto a cardboard roof, and to paper tubes   add moss.

We sew a hut

If you often do needlework, then you probably should have extra flaps left. They are suitable for creating not only huts on chicken legs, but also any fairy-tale character. Even a child can cope with such work, since instead of using a needle with a thread, you can simply stick the rags on a cardboard base. In this case, you can use absolutely any fabric. Crafts from fleece and felt look original. Using fabric applique you can make any flat crafts, and using a thread and a needle - to sew logs or other parts of the hut.

This craft is easy to make a whole educational toy-tool. Doors and windows on buttons or Velcro, and in the manufacture of the roof, use some rustling material. If the roof is also removable (for example, using lightning), then the interior space is perfect for folding various small objects in a toy.

Our crafts for the contest "Autumn Festival" - "Ezhkin House".
  So. This autumn we decided to cut down a strong wooden hut. We went into the forest, on the way wild ducks were fed

Yes, and do not forget yourself

   (read the city park (former Kharitonovsky), a part of the tree was blown to the ground by the wind by the pond, there he collected half a district of material for various crafts, and there our hungry boy walked and collected logs after "home-made".) Century-old trees were cut and knots were cut.

  Arshin was measured, logs of the required length were cut.

  Elbows and tops marked notches. The notches were made with the eastern ax.

   I did all the rest of the orerations myself, but I had to make nicks, it was too painful for a sharp instrument. Just a weak hand in a cast did not fix logs well and nicks did not always fall into place.
  And they began to roll the blockhouse. On that night we found.

  The next evening, we already had a noble log cabin. We cut through windows, doors, covered the roof, inserted windows, decorated with carved shutters and platbands. And at the house legs suddenly grew. chicken on 3 fingers and spurs. Our hut was buried in a mossy swamp to a frail forest with fly agarics. And Babka Yozhka settled in it, so that no one would immediately take it and sign it. Yes, surrounded the fence, so as not to run away.

  Ega began to train the hut. “Hut, hut turn to me in front, and back to the forest” (judging by the spurs in front, we got where the door is, and the reverse side is where the window is).

  Grandmother Hedgehog flooded the stove, and hid in a deny brownie, so he barely managed to jump out of the pipe. Well, like in a house without a brownie.

  And while Yaga was arranging a new hut, the first guests came to visit her for a housewarming party. The first peeked neighbor was Lesnaya Kikimora.

  This is our autumn fairy tale.

P / S / In the morning they took to school. And only then already in the photographs she noticed that the house was not smoked up (although moss and a toothpick were prepared in advance). Oh, the yaga will catch in the winter.
